Mansoor Nasir https://mcws.org/people/mansoor-nasir/ Wed, 08 Jan 2025 07:13:12 +0000 https://mcws.org/?post_type=ctc_person&p=7220 I have been a Canton resident since 2012 when we moved here from Virginia to be close to family. Alhamdulillah I have four kids (three girls and a boy) ranging from 21 to 9 yrs. All our kids have gone through CAI at some point. My wife, Amina Iqbal, is the director of Canton library board (and arguably better for the shura position but her time is limited).

I have a PhD from UC Berkeley and by profession, I am a research engineer at Ford Motor Company in Human factors and driver behavior. In my past career, I was a full-time faculty at Lawrence Tech University

I am really interested in mentoring and guiding our youth in STEM and research. I have participated in various MCWS and community programs and initiatives in the past, although not consistently. If chosen for this responsibility/Amana, iA I can continue to serve the community in a more consistent and official role.

Adil Daudi https://mcws.org/people/adil-daudi/ Wed, 08 Jan 2025 07:12:46 +0000 https://mcws.org/?post_type=ctc_person&p=7219 Alhumdulillah I’ve been blessed to be living in Canton with my wife, and our two children for nearly 10 years. During this time, we’ve been active members of MCWS and the Crescent community, and it’s been an integral part of our family’s life.

Professionally, I am an attorney with an office in Canton, helping individuals and businesses navigate their challenges and plan for the future. Through my work, I’ve gained experience in making thoughtful decisions, resolving disputes, and working towards long-term solutions—skills I hope to bring to the Shura.

My vision for our community is rooted in the principles of our deen: to strengthen our bonds, and ensure that our masjid continues to be a welcoming and supportive space for everyone. I hope to see our community continue to grow by enhancing services for our youth and families, improving our facilities, and creating opportunities for all members to connect and contribute in meaningful ways.

I would be honored to serve and to work alongside others to build a stronger and more united community, InshaAllah.
